Who Are We?

We are dedicated to empowering and inspiring others through our DIY projects and tutorials on art, sewing, crafting, and home improvement. Especially women - who have traditionally been left out of many areas of DIY.

Previously CraftAndFabricLinks.com, Spruce & Fjell was born in 2022. Same owners - new site. Schools and charity groups have used our lessons all over the world to teach skills, empowering people to earn a living for themselves. As CraftAndFabricLinks, we enjoyed the heartwarming letters. Now, we wish to continue, but felt the need for updating to a format that is easier to maintain - hence the birth of Spruce And Fjell.

Mission Statement

Our aim is to empower and inspire others through our numerous DIY projects and tutorials. Home improvement (tear out that old floor - you can do it!), home decor craft projects, and free sewing patterns and lessons. Don’t hire or pay for something that you can do or create yourself! Save money and gain control.

At Spruce and Fjell, we also believe in balance. When we aren’t busy sprucing things up, we are out exploring nature in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Fjell is the Norwegian term for mountain. The Pacific Northwest offers two rugged mountain ranges, several  rainforests, the Pacific ocean, and pristine rivers and lakes. Exploring nature promotes fitness, life perspective, and inspiration. Find your balance - hiking, art, music, meditation.
